Stem Cell & Regenerative Medicine · Turkey

Evidence before treatment.

Stem cell is not one medicine or one procedure. We help patients inspect the cell source, intended use, evidence, authorisation and treating centre before considering travel.

Start here

A condition appearing on this page does not mean stem cell treatment is proven, approved or suitable.

Some cell therapies have established roles for specific blood and immune disorders. Many regenerative applications promoted for neurological, pulmonary, orthopaedic, reproductive, ophthalmic or cosmetic conditions remain experimental, condition-specific or unsupported. Eligibility can only follow review by an appropriately authorised clinical team.

01

Identify the exact product

Ask for the cell type, donor source, processing method, dose, route of administration and manufacturing centre. “Stem cells” alone is not an adequate description.

02

Verify authorisation

Confirm the hospital, human-application centre and tissue/cell facility are licensed for the proposed activity, and whether the use is standard care, a treatment trial or clinical research.

03

Inspect the evidence

Look for condition-specific human evidence, recognised endpoints, published adverse events and independent oversight. Testimonials cannot establish safety or effectiveness.

Indications patients ask about

Six clinical pathways for evidence and eligibility review.

These groups reflect enquiries that regenerative-medicine centres may receive. They are not a list of treatments Aestheticsbridge guarantees or recommends.

01

Vascular, wound and tissue repair

Specialist evidence review required
  • Peripheral arterial disease, including Buerger disease
  • Chronic critical limb ischaemia and foot ulcers
  • Diabetic foot wounds
  • Soft-tissue wounds and surgical-wound repair
  • Burns, traumatic wounds and scar repair
  • Selected reconstructive applications, including breast reconstruction
02

Orthopaedic and musculoskeletal questions

Many uses remain investigational
  • Cartilage degeneration
  • Tendon injury
  • Muscle injury and selected myopathies
  • Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD)
  • Limb-girdle muscular dystrophy (LGMD)
  • Miyoshi myopathy
03

Neurological and developmental conditions

Clinical-trial or specialist pathway only
  • Spinal cord injury
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Hypoxic-ischaemic encephalopathy
  • Spinocerebellar and Friedreich ataxia
  • Multiple sclerosis, stroke, autoimmune encephalitis and SSPE
  • Autism spectrum disorder
04

Pulmonary and cardiovascular conditions

Evidence and authorisation must be verified
  • Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
  • Idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF)
  • Cystic fibrosis
  • Ischaemic cardiac disease
  • Peripheral arterial disease
05

Ophthalmic, reproductive and systemic conditions

Not routine stem-cell treatment
  • Optic atrophy and retinitis pigmentosa
  • Ovarian insufficiency
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Systemic sclerosis / scleroderma
  • Crohn's disease
  • Short bowel syndrome
  • Selected immune-support questions such as graft-versus-host disease
06

Reconstructive and cosmetic enquiries

Product and claim verification required
  • Skin rejuvenation and tightening
  • Hand rejuvenation
  • Facial bone and soft-tissue trauma
  • Maxillofacial reconstruction
  • Hair restoration
  • Plastic-surgery wound support

How we classify an enquiry

Three statuses. No blurred language.

Established use

A recognised indication with an authorised product or transplantation pathway and accepted clinical governance.

Investigational use

A proposed application studied through a properly registered, ethics-approved protocol with transparent eligibility and monitoring.

Unsupported or unclear

Evidence, product identity, authorisation or oversight cannot be verified. We do not present this as a treatment option.

Before specialist review

What records may be needed

Patient-safety sources

Inspect the regulatory context.

ISSCR — Stem Cell Resources for Patients FDA — Consumer Alert on Regenerative Medicine Products Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Health — Human Tissue and Cell Regulation

This educational platform does not diagnose, recommend or sell an unapproved cell product. A licensed specialist and authorised centre must determine whether any regulated pathway exists for an individual patient.

Ask for an evidence and eligibility review

Share the diagnosis and existing medical records. We will first clarify what type of specialist, authorisation and evidence should be checked—before discussing travel.
